Confirmation
The reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace… By the sacrament of Confirmation the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.
The sacrament of confirmation is the third of the three sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church. Students preparing for this sacrament receive it in the spring of 8th grade, following two years of preparation in religious education.
