Baptism
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other Sacraments.
Baptism is the first of the three sacraments of initiation. Preparation for the baptism of infants can begin during pregnancy. Preparation classes are given as needed. We ask that parents attend two preparation sessions, which focus on the theology of baptism & the signs and the symbols of the sacrament. Infant baptisms are usually scheduled on every 1st Sunday of the month at the 11 o’clock mass.
- Baptisms for children up to the age of six will be processed by Sister Mary Ann at the parish office.
- Children age 7 and older and adults should contact Krimhilde Morales at the Parish office.
